We came to medical education by different routes, through meeting rooms, classrooms, clinics and laboratories. The mix is deliberate. A program only works when its logistics, its curriculum and its science are each held to a professional standard, so iVista is staffed for all three, and every activity crosses every desk before it reaches yours.

Chief Executive Officer · Founder

Yaremi KoopotCMP

Yaremi studied business at Cal State Fullerton and has spent more than 25+ years in continuing medical education and event management. Under her direction iVista has grown from its eyecare roots into a national CME provider trusted by Stanford, Duke, UCLA and the Cleveland Clinic. She also mentors young women in business and recently spoke on the 2026 Latina Voices panel at San Diego State University.

Senior Medical Education Manager

Alana OchoaMA

Alana runs iVista’s programs end to end, incluing activity management, faculty management, sponsor funding and contracting, and the accreditation details that keeps every activity compliant. She holds a master’s degree and has delivered iVista meetings virtually, internationally and across the country.

Chief Science Officer

Oren FugonMD-PhD

Oren trained as a scientist at UC Davis, where his doctoral work on the epigenetics of neurodevelopmental disease was published in Human Molecular Genetics and Genome Biology. At iVista he writes the grants that fund each program, runs the outcomes analysis behind every activity and keeps each curriculum honest to the current evidence.

Social Media and Medical Education Coordinator

Nesma AzizBS

Nesma manages iVista’s social media channels and supports the marketing and promotion of our medical education programs, while also assisting with program coordination, planning, and execution.. A UC Irvine graduate in social policy and public service, she interned in Washington DC through the UCDC program, researched pathways to higher education for foster youth at Peace4Kids and started in digital marketing at UC Irvine’s Charles Dunlop School of Biological Sciences.

Natalia Olivas

Natalia helps coordinate iVista’s live meetings and webinars while finishing her international business degree at San Diego State University, where she also directs events for the Hispanic Business Student Association. She cares about global business, cultural exchange and collaboration that brings people together.

Medical Education Assistant

Taylor Koopot

Taylor supports iVista’s medical education programs part-time, assisting with program logistics, registration, and other day-to-day program needs.

Accounts Payable

Belen Hernandez BendañaMBA

Belen holds a master of business administration and runs accounts payable for iVista. Every invoice, honorarium and venue bill behind a program crosses her desk, and she keeps them accurate and on time.
